Well, we can happily say that Tilly is now the proud new owner of a “Kid Walk” all the way from the US of A.
Kid Walk is an innovative mobility system that allows Tilly to have the freedom of exploration while supporting her upper body. What this means for Tilly is she can now involve herself in activities with other children in an upright position, it allows her to become a part of group activities, she can explore more, navigate her way around the house and most importantly it gives her some independence. We now have to keep an eye on her at all times as this little hotstepper is starting to get her sticky fingers on everything.
So thank you to everyone that has supported Tilly in our recent fundraising efforts. You have all been a part of helping Tilly be the best she can be. Since Tilly has had the Kid Walk we have already seen some nice improvements in her strength, mobility and motor skills.

These new wheels give Matilda a vital sense of independence. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Matilda’s cause. She is a much happier girl as a result, and is continuing her mission to be the best she can be.

Thank-you for putting together such a informative, touching and resourceful webpage. You have a beautiful little girl in Tilly, and and she is very lucky to have parents with such positive attitudes and who are not willing to sit back and do nothing. Reading Tilly’s story, I related in so many ways. I too have a beautiful little girl Jasmine who is almost 2 and has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and is Profoundly Deaf, but like Tilly she is full of life and is very determined. We have been fund raising for Jasmine and are also starting a foundation in her honor to help Jasmine and other families in situations like us. It is a roller coaster of emotions having a child with these disabilities and the unknown is the thing that gets to me the most. Your website provided me with some really useful resources in the websites that you have linked to. I would love to hear more about how Tilly is going with the Kidwalk as this is something we’d love to look at getting for Jasmine and how you find the acupuncture and chiropratic therapy for her. Kids like ours truly get given to special parents, and you should be very proud of the parents that you are and what you are doing for your little girl. Keep up the good work and all the best with the fundraiser and I wish Tilly ongoing progress and happiness in life. Thanks again, Rebecca Hallal
